
J. Timmons Roberts
J. Timmons Roberts is Professor of Sociology and former Director of the Program in Environmental Science and Policy at the College of William and Mary. He spent ten years at Tulane University in New Orleans, where he researched and co-authored Chronicles from the Environmental Justice Frontline (with Melissa Toffolon-Weiss, Routledge, 2001). In 2006-07, he was a James Martin 21st Century School Professor in the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford. His book A Climate Of Injustice: Global Inequality, North–South Politics, and Climate Policy (with Bradley Parks, 2007, MIT Press) examines international injustice and the need to incorporate development in climate solutions.
