By merging the focuses of the Healthy Homes and Beauty Inside Out working groups, we aim to build collective knowledge and power to fight for safer environments, products, and policies that protect our health and well-being.\r\n\r\nOur work highlights the disproportionate impact of toxic chemicals on communities of color, from harmful ingredients in personal care and beauty products to lead poisoning and cumulative toxic exposures in our built environment. We host educational presentations, community discussions, and advocacy opportunities, providing tools for community members to take action\u2014whether by creating healthier homes, supporting beauty supply workers and consumers, or advocating for policy changes that prioritize environmental justice and public health. Together, we are building a movement for healthier, toxin-free homes and communities, and beauty justice.\r\n\r\nThe group meets on the third Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM via Zoom (register here<\/a>).
