The use of PFAS is widespread in the making of products that resist grease, oil, water, and stains - such as non-stick pans, microwave popcorn bags, raincoats, cosmetics, fire-fighting foam, carpets, food wrappers, etc.\r\n\r\nWE ACT has been working to raise awareness of PFAS and the threat these chemicals pose to the public - and frontline communities in particular - as well as advance legislation that will limit the continued use of these harmful chemicals.
