Aggarwala as Chief Climate Officer and Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner, Vincent Sapienza as Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Environmental Protection, and Kizzy Charles-Guzman as Executive Director of the Mayor\u2019s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice. The appointments came as part of the Adam\u2019s administration&#8217;s pledge to implement the recommendations of the City\u2019s upcoming Environmental Justice for All Report, which will identify and examine the environmental and climate issues facing our city, determine which communities are experiencing the greatest burdens, and make recommendations on how to equitably address the challenges communities are experiencing.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cWe thank Mayor Eric Adams for boldly committing to implement the recommendations of New York City\u2019s first Environmental Justice for All Report,\u201d said Peggy Shepard, Co-Founder &amp; Executive Director of WE ACT for Environmental Justice. \u201cAnd we also thank the Mayor for appointing Rohit T.
