WE ACT continues to work with the New York City Mayor\u2019s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice (MOCEJ) on a citywide outreach effort to engage communities and get their input on the\u00a0EJNYC Plan<\/a>, a plan to address the environmental justice issues identified in the\u00a0EJNYC Report<\/a>. Engaging with the residents of New York\u2019s environmental justice communities, those who are most impacted by these issues, will be critical in developing effective, equitable solutions.<\/p>\r\n

We held a community input session for West Harlem in December, and we are hosting one for East Harlem on\u00a0Monday, March 30th\u00a0from\u00a06:00-8:00 PM at the Silberman\u00a0School of Social Work, which is part of the City University of New York's Hunter College, located at 2180 Third Avenue (at the corner of East 119th Street).
