Through the unity of our values, we are standing up against prejudiced systems that continue to overwhelmingly poison the air, water, and soil of people of color and those who earn less. We\u2019re fighting to protect the most vulnerable from the real-time deadly impacts of the climate crisis, and finding powerful solutions to improve well-being, grow jobs, invest in innovation, and clean up our environments. Together, we\u2019re strengthening our collective power to create the future we deserve.\u00a0<\/span><b><\/b>\r\n<h4><b>Standing Strong for Environmental Justice<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Environmental justice didn\u2019t start at the federal level; it started in the communities who are committed to protecting their health, families, and environments. In spite of decades of challenges, opposition, and underinvestment, the movement keeps pushing onwards. In the face of an unprecedented barrage of Trump executive orders, which drove the undoing of over 80 important legacy executive orders - including two foundational orders focused on environmental justice - we <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/harmful-trump-rescissions-and-executive-orders-target-environmental-justice-communities-vulnerable-groups\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rang the alarm on why these actions are discriminatory<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/we-act-stands-firm-to-protect-the-policies-that-safeguard-our-states-local-communities-from-pollution-and-move-climate-resilience-forward\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">harmful<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. As the work to achieve fairness for all people under the law is core to our mission, we uplifted the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/storymaps.arcgis.com\/stories\/1a110cda3df445aa9bc8cd88d15fa93d\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">history of why environmental justice is essential<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and highlighted the progress we\u2019ve made. To support communities at the local level, we provided <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/we-act-for-environmental-justice-and-columbia-universitys-sabin-center-launch-new-community-advocacy-tools-to-protect-public-health\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">justice tools<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> - with the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/climate.law.columbia.edu\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sabin Center for Climate Change Law<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at Columbia University - for people to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dismantlinginjustice.org\/we-act-for-environmental-justice-and-columbia-universitys-sabin-center-launch-new-community-advocacy-tools-to-protect-public-health\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stand up for their rights<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in their cities and states, right now.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<img class=\"wp-image-5363 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/ej-briefing-2025-1-2-300x200.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"692\" height=\"462\" \/>\r\n<h4><b>Building Community and Sharing Insights<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not only is environmental justice a human right, but it also benefits the majority of people across the United States. To reinforce this message and build community, we organized an environmental justice information session, featuring the latest voter polling data showing majority support for environmental justice, and communications guidance to make sure we continue to respond to the moment with clarity and courage. WE ACT's co-founder and executive director Peggy Shepard, and fellow co-founder Vernice Miller-Travis, current EVP at Metropolitan Group, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">were featured on a panel alongside Marilyn Zepeda Salazar, Legislative Director at Climate J<\/span>ustice Alliance, Parisa Norouzi, Executive Director at Empower DC and Rep. Summer Lee (PA-12). The session also included remarks by Rep. Jared Huffman (CA-2) and Rep. Maxine Dexter, M.D. (OR-3), and WE ACT's Chief Federal Officer Leslie G. Fields. It was followed by a joyful reception attended by partners and staff, alongside Rep. Rashida Tlaib (MI-12).\r\n\r\nWe continued this momentum with another event for Earth Month titled, \u201cOur Earth is for Everyone,\u201d to build partnership and fortify our community. At Johns Hopkins\u00a0University\u2019s first <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainability.jhu.edu\/event\/healing-our-planet-2025-hop25\/\">Healing Our Planet 2025 (HOP25) event,<\/a> WE ACT staff shared why grassroots organizing will lead the way, how the legal landscape must continue to evolve to protect the most vulnerable, as well as data and mapping to advance sound policies.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"wp-image-5361 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1744731387585-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"510\" \/>\r\n<h4><b>Defending Environmental Justice Funding, Policies, and Departments\r\n<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/trump-speech-addresses-none-of-administrations-harm-reinforces-disregard-and-prejudice\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the unveiled effort to target and tear down environmental justice<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, conflating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) with environmental justice to advance prejudiced and unconstitutional attacks, we have continued to center the truth and the stories of the people impacted. With illegal funding freezes, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/trump-administrations-discrimination-agenda-dismantles-epa-environmental-justice-civil-rights-office\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mass staff firings<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and departments being dismantled, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/trump-federal-funding-freeze-attempt-is-an-illegal-unconstitutional-and-inhumane-assault-on-millions-of-people\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">we spoke out<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/illegal-trump-directive-targets-communities-of-color-and-low-income-clean-affordable-energy-and-green-jobs\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pushed back<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markey.senate.gov\/news\/press-releases\/at-epa-headquarters-senator-markey-members-of-congress-denied-access-and-meeting-with-doge-members-administrator\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stood up<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. As the advocacy choir gets louder, there have been multiple <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/epa-green-bank-grants-clean-energy-projects-1bcc9dd5c92f8dfb4304add043711278\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">legal actions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to successfully restore some of these funds, policies, and functions. Rep. Summer Lee (PA-12), moved by our information session, advanced a vital letter - signed by over 100 House Democrats - <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/energy-environment\/5217611-house-democrats-epa-environmental-justice-offices\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">urging the reinstatement of environmental justice offices at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>\r\n<h4>Keeping the EPA Accountable to Protect Human Health &amp; Our Environments<\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A core aspect of this administration\u2019s efforts has been actively undermining the mission of the EPA \u201cto protect human health and the environment\u201d by fulfilling the exact opposite, giving polluters free reign to harm the public.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When Trump\u2019s EPA administrator Lee Zeldin shared that they were rolling back over 30 necessary environmental and health protections, including those cleaning our air from toxins like mercury and hazards like smog, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/zeldins-epa-rollbacks-are-dagger-straight-into-the-heart-of-vulnerable-people-and-sell-out-to-polluters\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">we said \u201cabsolutely not.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d With the 2025 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lung.org\/research\/sota\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">American Lung Association report<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> showing that 46 percent of Americans live in places with failing grades for unhealthy levels of ozone or smog pollution, and 78 million people of color live in counties that received at least one failing grade, these actions are clearly not what the public wants, and they violate the EPA\u2019s legal responsibility to protect our health. We also continue to show why environmental justice policies like clean, accessible, fair transportation systems are hugely important to carry forward in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.commondreams.org\/opinion\/trump-clean-transit\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Op-Eds<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrdc.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2025-04\/community-letter-waiver-cra-letter.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sign-ons.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n[embed]https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uBNic4zRmmk[\/embed]\r\n<h4>All In for Climate Justice<\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the administration will recklessly hurt people by taking us back to an era of rivers on fire and air choked with noxious particles, they are opening the floodgates to worsen the climate crisis. As the administration attempts to remove the ability of the EPA to protect people from the pollution driving the climate crisis, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uBNic4zRmmk\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">we made it clear<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> - along with Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) and partners - that millions of people, especially people of color and low-income communities, will not be sacrificed for polluting industries. While they also challenge state climate laws, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/we-act-stands-firm-to-protect-the-policies-that-safeguard-our-states-local-communities-from-pollution-and-move-climate-resilience-forward\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">we remain strong and unwavering<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in our dedication to our responsibility to lead on local climate policy.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<img class=\"size-medium wp-image-5364 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/WE-ACT-NEWS-SOCIAL-2025-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The everyday felt effects of the climate crisis are worsening, with extreme heat being the most deadly of all, especially for Black communities. Instead of addressing this critical issue, the administration took aim at the widely popular, bipartisan, and severely underfunded Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) which helps cover rising energy bills and saves lives. As they fired the entire LIHEAP staff at Health and Human Services (HHS), we outlined <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/mass-staff-firing-of-heating-cooling-relief-program-leaves-vulnerable-communities-without-essential-assistance\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">why this is extremely dangerous and specifically hurts environmental justice communities.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> With our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/en\/publications\/liheap-2024-brief\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recent report<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with NRDC showcasing reasons the program requires greater investment, not less, and our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markey.senate.gov\/news\/press-releases\/sen-markey-rep-ansari-introduce-legislation-to-help-families-pay-their-heating-and-cooling-bills\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">endorsement of the Heating and Cooling Relief Act<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to advance these improvements, we continue our work to create healthy homes for all, protecting LIHEAP and the people who urgently need this program.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n<h4>Saving Our Democracy<\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The threats to our democracy are many, and in response, so are our efforts to safeguard and expand our rights and freedoms. With the SAFE Act passing in the House, which would disenfranchise millions from voting, we remain solid in our grounding to endorse civil rights bills like the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/we-act-statement-on-john-r-lewis-voting-rights-advancement-act\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The foundational democratic law that is the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) has been chipped away at by Trump and his allies since his first administration, and now they mean to go even further and bypass it entirely. As \u201cthe people\u2019s environmental law\u201d makes sure the government looks at how federal projects (like highways and pipelines) affect the environment and communities before they\u2019re approved, the administration seeks to remove the Council on Environmental Quality\u2019s (CEQ) ability to carry NEPA forward, undoing 50 years of protections. This undermines the fundamental democratic right of giving people a say in issues that impact them. In partnership with Climate Justice Alliance and Green Latinos, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/trump-administration-puts-polluters-first-destroys-core-protection-for-public-health-and-our-environment\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">we spoke up<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/EJ-Comments-for-CEQ-Removal-of-NEPA-Implementing-Regulations.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">we submitted comments alongside almost 200 organizations<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to oppose this unjust action. As they likewise aim to illegally bypass NEPA entirely through the Department of the Interior, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/we-act-on-department-of-the-interior-doi-violating-protections-of-people-and-the-environment-we-depend-on\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">we will not surrender our rights<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We deserve and need a government that <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1i7ZlH4pgWHz63QUG5s60hGmcVMpWK9AvHJuPKrIKVgc\/edit?tab=t.0\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">creates a permitting process that involves the public meaningfully<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; protects our environments; moves us to zero-polluting, affordable energy sources; and benefits everyone, without hurting the most vulnerable.<\/span>\r\n<h2><b>We envision<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/2025-Policy-Agenda-FINAL-digital.pdf\"><b> environmental justice for all<\/b><\/a><b> - In 100 days we could:<\/b><b>\r\n<\/b><\/h2>\r\n<img class=\"wp-image-5365 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/IMG_9507-4-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"725\" height=\"481\" \/>\r\n<h4><b>Make Environmental Justice for All Act Law<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The A. Donald McEachin Environmental Justice For All Act must be passed into law to make sure that partisan attacks on environmental justice cannot stand. The EJ4ALL Act, which was created through grassroots community input from across the country, would restore protections under the Civil Rights Act, and would also direct agencies to follow requirements concerning environmental justice, including environmental review under NEPA. It would create advisory bodies to issue environmental justice strategies at the federal level, and establish labeling and regulations against toxic products. It would also create a variety of funding programs to enhance access to park and recreational opportunities in urban areas.<\/span>\r\n<h4>Grow Investments, Opportunities, and Green Jobs<\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We need to build on federal investments in climate change, clean energy, clean transportation, affordable housing,\u00a0<\/span>water infrastructure, workforce development, and pollution remediation for disadvantaged communities. The work to <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">create programs like Justice40 for this purpose took decades of organizing, and with the beginnings of the program rolling out over the last several years, we would improve upon and grow the effort to invest in the communities that need it most. Justice40 2.0 would overcome challenges for applications and implementation, and make the investments work for communities most impacted.<\/span>\r\n<h4>Clean Up Our Air, Water, and Soil<\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Across the U.S., <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/oocc\/article\/5\/1\/kgaf011\/8099165\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">communities of color and low-income live with the greatest exposure to polluting facilities, waste sites, and other environmental hazards<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We\u2019d reinvest and expedite the work to clean superfund and dump sites. We would also build on our collaborative work through coalitions like <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/programs\/clean-air-for-the-long-haul-dare-to-breathe\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clean Air for the Long Haul<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to protect and improve clean air standards at the EPA, including those regulating deadly pollution from power plants and transportation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<img class=\" wp-image-2508 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Peggy-Shepard-Cecil-Corbin-Mark-M60-EBus-012920-DSC_0012c660-300x295.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"783\" height=\"770\" \/>\r\n<h4><b>Make Our Transportation Clean, Inexpensive, and Accessible<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traffic, industrial activity, and other sources create Particulate Matter 2.5 (soot) pollution. In New York City, soot contributes to<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/a816-dohbesp.nyc.gov\/IndicatorPublic\/data-stories\/traffic-and-air-pollution\/#:~:text=14%25%20of%20the%20PM2.,deliveries%2C%20traffic%20patterns%20are%20changing.\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 2,000 deaths and 5,150 emergency visits and hospitalizations<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for respiratory and heart disease each year. For people of color, this risk is greater as they are <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.ucs.org\/angel-fernandez\/the-state-of-the-air-in-2024-not-great\/#:~:text=Disparities%20in%20air%20quality%20disproportionately,failing%20grades%20in%20air%20quality.\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.3 times more likely<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> than white people to live with failing air quality grades. The electrification of vehicles, the expansion of mass transit, and other strategies can expand affordable transportation options, reduce air pollution, and save lives.<\/span>\r\n<h4><b>Remove Toxics from Products<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Personal care products \u2013 everything from cosmetics to soaps and shampoos to hair straighteners \u2013 are largely unregulated, with far too many containing toxic ingredients that have been linked to cancer, infertility, miscarriage, poor infant and maternal health outcomes, obesity, asthma, and many other serious health concerns. We would work to appropriately regulate and label these products, advancing laws to ban the most dangerous toxic chemicals in our everyday products.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\r\n<\/span>\r\n\r\n<img class=\"wp-image-3166 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Good-Jobs-Header-Image-300x150.jpg\" alt=\"Good Jobs with Solar\" width=\"690\" height=\"345\" \/>\r\n<h4><b>Scale Up Affordable, Clean Energy<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We must advance a just and equitable transition away from fossil fuels, and move toward an energy future that provides direct benefits to those most hurt by decades of destruction. This work would also end government hand-outs for false solution technologies like carbon capture and storage (CCS), liquefied natural gas (LNG), and dirty hydrogen driven by polluting companies that perpetuate fossil fuel racism. With <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/news-events\/podcast\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a clear vision<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the future of our energy systems, we would further policies driving investments for key technologies like wind and solar, as well as job training and placement. We would also work to improve project permitting processes, ensuring government accountability and public participation in decision-making.<\/span>\r\n<h4>Nurture Science and Make Research More Accessible<\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the last several years, extraordinary advancements and investments in data, dashboards, and tools created by federal agencies helped paint a more accurate picture of the lived experiences of pollution, lack of investments, hazards, and opportunities for growth in environmental justice communities. These tools and data need to be restored, expanded with public data and access, and acknowledge <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.envres.2006.05.007\">race as a main indicator associated with exposure to environmental health harms.\u00a0<\/a><\/span>\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone wp-image-5369\" src=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/AS5A5376-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"833\" height=\"555\" \/>\r\n<h4>Tackle Cumulative Impacts<\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Addressing the cumulative impacts of exposure to pollution, toxic chemicals, and other environmental harms would finally help to overcome decades of multiplying harm caused by the many hazards environmental justice communities face in their own backyards. We <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/updates\/governor-hochul-signs-landmark-environmental-justice-legislation-reducing-the-cumulative-impacts-of-pollution-on-disadvantaged-communities\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">supported moving legislation forward in New York<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and created a series of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dismantlinginjustice.org\/model-legislation\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cumulative impacts and environmental justice model bills<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0 These bills could be passed across the country, and we advocate for cumulative impacts analyses to be centered in federal agencies, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/cumulative-impacts\/interim-framework-advancing-consideration-cumulative-impacts\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">such as at the EPA<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span>\r\n<h4><b>Grow Climate Justice\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We would further our groundbreaking work to ensure local, state, and federal climate, energy, and environmental funding equitably improves environmental and climate health outcomes on-the-ground for those most vulnerable. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/focus\/climate-justice\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a leading organization driving climate justice policy in New York,<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> we would make sure these bills are implemented and build on these efforts with partners and allies nationwide.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone wp-image-5368\" src=\"https:\/\/weact.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Mary-Rivera-and-daughter-Francelli-Reyes-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"795\" height=\"448\" \/>\r\n<h4><b>Make Homes Healthy for All<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Everyone deserves a safe, healthy home\u2014but too many communities are left behind. Low-income households and people of color in public and affordable housing face the worst indoor health hazards and extreme weather, all while struggling to access clean, affordable energy. Our national <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/healthyhomesfirst.org\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Healthy Homes First<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> campaign amplifies lived experiences, drives policy reforms, and whole-of-home improvements to advance clean, affordable energy upgrades, and remedy health hazards.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\r\n<\/span>\r\n<h4><b>Protect Democracy and Civil Rights<\/b><\/h4>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re steadfast in the work to preserve communities\u2019 ability to speak for themselves by encouraging civic engagement and securing robust voter rights and protections.
