Yosef Robele is a Federal Policy Manager at WE ACT for Environmental Justice, focusing on transportation and energy advocacy and research. Prior to joining WE ACT, he served as a Legislative Assistant at Earthjustice, supporting and advocating for a wide range of issues including particulate matter NAAQS, ethylene oxide standards, regulatory reform, and farm bill advocacy.
Yosef received his Masters of Public Health from George Washington University, serving as a Green Fellow with the District of Columbia’s Department of Energy and Environment. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Environmental Science and minored in Physics.
Yosef is passionate about utilizing his public health and policy background to serve environmental justice communities. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing chess and guitar, reading, and indulging in the local food scene. He’s a first generation Ethiopian American and was born and raised in a diverse community in Aurora, Colorado.
