As part of the New York City Coalition to End Lead Poisoning coalition, we’re working with the Center for Urban Pedagogy to develop a new tool to help protect families from exposure to lead, a dangerous neurotoxin. To ensure that this tool is effective, we need your help! Join us on Tuesday, May 7 from 6:30-8:00 PM to help us develop this resource to help our community better understand lead hazards and their rights when it comes to prevention and protection. All are welcome, but we are ideally looking for families who have been directly impacted by lead exposure who are willing to share their experiences and insight. Participants will receive a $50 gift card as a thank you for their time and contribution. If you or someone you know would like to participate, please reach out to me at elizabeth.reyes@weact.org or call her at 646-983-7098.
