At this critical time for the community, we invite you to come share your ideas and concerns about East Harlem.
The East Harlem Collaborative for Community Justice (EHCCJ) is a group of individuals and organizations working together on a community-driven visioning process for East Harlem. As the community faces multiple challenges and changes, our goal is to empower current residents of East Harlem to identify actionable strategies and investments in climate resiliency, community health, economic wellbeing, and civic engagement.
From 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 21st, we are hosting a State of East Harlem Town Hall, at which we are hoping to hear from East Harlem residents about both their ideas and concerns for the community. Our goal is to develop an actionable plan for the community to address as many of the issues as we can. The event is free and open to the public at El Museo del Barrio, which is located at 1230 Fifth Avenue.
