Did you know that indoor air can contain pollutants from cooking, cleaning products, dust, and outdoor pollution that makes its way inside? We spend about 90 percent of our time indoors, making the air we breathe at home especially important! That’s why you should join the Healthy Homes Working Group for its November Meeting to learn how to build your own air filter. This in-person, hands-on workshop will teach you how to build affordable DIY air filters using everyday materials. Materials will be provided at no cost! Come learn how indoor air pollution affects our health and how simple, low-cost solutions can help reduce airborne particles and make our homes healthier places to breathe. Join us on Thursday, November 19th from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Most Worshipful Prince Hall, which is located at 454 West 155th Street. RSVP
