Mira Eashwaran is a National Organizing Fellow at WE ACT for Environmental Justice, where she supports the Environmental Justice Leadership Forum. She is part of the Princeton University High Meadows Fellowship Program and graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University in 2026, with a B.A. in Public Policy and International Affairs and a minor in Environmental Studies. She is a co-founder of Sunrise Princeton, a chapter of the national Sunrise Movement of student climate activists, and served as the chapter’s lead of the Community Team and chapter co-coordinator. Through the Campus Climate Network, she was responsible for engaging, training, and coaching the next generation of student climate activists across the country on environmental justice. Originally from Alpharetta, Georgia, Mira has previously worked with the Environmental Defense Fund’s Global Engagement and Partnerships team, learning about international climate negotiations and conducting research on the gender/climate nexus, and for U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) as a foreign policy intern. She is deeply passionate about community partnership principles and environmental justice in an innovating world, and spends her free time songwriting and producing music.
