WE ACT Co-Founder and Executive Director Peggy Shepard was invited to give the commencement address at Lawrence University on June 10, 2018. She was the principal speaker and received an honorary doctorate. She talked about her path to becoming a champion for environmental justice and the importance of taking risks and making sacrifices when striving to make a difference in the world.
