Join us on Saturday, March 21st to learn how to test soil for contaminants as well as how to reduce your energy bill. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with your community! This dual workshop will be held from 12:00-3:00 PM at NYCHA’s Polo Grounds Community Center, which is located at 2999 Frederick Douglass Blvd. Perl Egendorf, Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies and Science at Pace University, will teach you how to test soil samples, showing you that science can be both fun and useful. Our Manhattan Clean Energy Hub team will teach you how to reduce your energy bill – and provide you with an energy savings kit worth $92. Contact Marciely Alvarado at marciely.alvarado@weact.org with questions. RSVP
