Albany Advocacy Day & Rally: Defend Our Climate Law and Advocate to Lower Energy Bills & Pollution

In 2019, we helped pass the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA), New York’s landmark Climate Law, which set clear targets to reduce emissions and transition our state from dirty and volatile fossil fuels to clean, renewable energy. Not only has Albany dragged its proverbial feet on implementing this law, but now there are elements who want to undermine it.

Join us in Albany on Wednesday, March 25th as we rally to defend the CLCPA and meet with legislators to ensure that the State budget includes funding for energy efficiency and renewable energy policies and programs that will help reduce our energy bills and protect the environment. We’ll be gathering as part of the Renewable Heat Now coalition, along with groups from all across the state. Buses will depart from Midtown West at 8:00 AM, returning around 7:00 PM that evening. There will also be buses leaving from Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester, and other locations. Learn More & RSVP
