Mapping & Communicating Hope, Justice, & Action
Taking place during DC Climate Week, this panel moderated by Johns Hopkins University’s MS programs in Environmental Science and Policy (ESP) and Energy Policy and Climate (EPC), led by WE ACT for Environmental Justice, will focus on a positive, necessary vision for the future of environmental and climate justice at the local and federal level. Panelists will discuss the latest insights on broad, bipartisan support for climate justice and effective messaging, the power of storytelling efforts to highlight local advocates creating change, and potential roadmaps for protecting and advancing equity-centered policy. Together, panelists will discuss the inspiring work of environmental justice researchers and advocates to navigate historic rollbacks, and the urgent opportunity to envision the better world that we all deserve.
