WE ACT continues to work with the New York City Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice (MOCEJ) on a citywide outreach effort to engage communities and get their input on the EJNYC Plan, a plan to address the environmental justice issues identified in the EJNYC Report. Engaging with the residents of New York’s environmental justice communities, those who are most impacted by these issues, will be critical in developing effective, equitable solutions.

We held a community input session for West Harlem in December, and we are hosting one for East Harlem on Monday, March 30th from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Silberman School of Social Work, which is part of the City University of New York’s Hunter College, located at 2180 Third Avenue (at the corner of East 119th Street). Please tell all your friends and neighbors to come join us in identifying solutions to the the environmental justice issues in East Harlem! RSVP
