WASHINGTON – In response to last week’s announcement of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Phase II by the Council on Environmental Quality, WE ACT for Environmental Justice’s Federal Regulatory Affairs Attorney Jasmine Jennings issued the following statement:

“Last week marked a significant step forward in responding to frontline concerns about changes made to the National Environmental Policy Act during the Trump administration. We are encouraged by the development and are eager to analyze and respond to the details of the proposed rule, including a deep dive into the ways that the proposed changes will support the communities that NEPA is designed to serve.”
