Krizia Vargas-Garica (they/them) is the Executive Assistant and Office Manager for WE ACT for Environmental Justice’s Federal Policy Office. They are an experienced administrator, communicator, and advocate with a varied background in operations management, community engagement, and research. As a native Spanish speaker, they are passionate about advancing environmental and social justice through inclusive and mission-driven work. Prior to joining the WE ACT team, they oversaw evening operations as the Account Manager of Meriwether Godsey in Virginia Theological Seminary.
Krizia holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has completed post-baccalaureate course work in editing, public policy, and American Sign Language, showcasing their diverse educational background and breadth of knowledge. With expertise in team leadership, digital communications, and community outreach, they are dedicated to using their skills to support equitable and sustainable solutions.
